FACULTY & STAFF

Jack Kitching will return for his third season to the SPLIT program. Jack is no stranger to Summer Place. He started as a camper in first grade, was equipment coordinator for five years, was hired in 2017 as the SPLIT assistant coordinator, and will return for his second year as the SPLIT director. He teaches 10th- and 11th-grade students at the Harlem Children’s Zone in Brooklyn, New York. Sarah Sturgeon will be returning for her second season as the SPLIT assistant director. Sarah was a counselor at Summer Place for four years prior to taking on this new role as assistant. In addition, college-age counselors experienced in working with older campers are assigned to the program. A staff medical team includes an on-site registered nurse and an on-call physician.
